I understand that that during this school year the 17 (perfectly good) active boards purchased and installed by the foundation were removed by the county to replace with similar units purchased by SPLOST funds. I think the county owes the foundation an explanation for what will be done with those boards and that information should be passed back to TTF members by the foundation.

I think the TTF has done well in a tough economic times.

I checked with a number of sources at school, and they have confirmed: That it is not true. The ActivBoards are still there and will remain even when the County installs ActivBoards in the rest of the classrooms. The AcvitBoards purchased through SPLOST funds will be installed in classrooms that did not have one at all.

It is possible that some confusion has arisen due to the LCD projectors that were replaced. Those projectors that were de-installed for checkout from the media center.

    Thank you.
