Is my donation tax deductible?

YES!  The Tritt Tiger Foundation (TTF) is an educational, non-profit, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Tax ID is 58-2604983.

What is the suggested donation?

The requested donation is $100 per child; but any amount will have a lasting impact on Tritt students and is greatly appreciated.

Is there any benefit to donating during the month of August?
Yes!  Donations are accepted throughout the year.  However, if you donate before the end of our Annual Fund Campaign (August 31st), you will be entered into a random drawing for donated prizes.

The prizes include “Breakfast with the Principal” and tickets to the following area attractions such as Zoo Atlanta, Tellus Science Museum,  Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Fernbank Museum, Georgia Aquarium, a 3 month family membership to the YMCA, $25 Square1 Art gift cards, and the grand prize is a 3 night stay at a Seaside, Florida condo.

Donations of $400+ are entered for “Privileged Parking Spots” drawing and all fifth grade donor families are entered into a drawing for reserved “Fifth Grade Parking Spots” the last week of school.

Will I receive a receipt?                    

ALL donations will get a donation confirmation by email that your donation has been received by the TTF.  Donations of $250 or more will receive a tax receipt. Be sure to include youre-mail address on your donation form!

When will I receive my tax receipt for my donation?

Tax receipts for donations of $250+ will be emailed out in January.  If you would like a donation receipt for a donation less than $250, you may request one at

When will I receive a tax receipt for my pledge?

You’ll receive a pledge confirmation when pledge is received.  As payments are received on the pledge, a donation confirmation will be emailed.  If your pledge payments total $250+ as of December 31st, you will receive a tax receipt via email in January.

What should I do if I haven’t received a receipt or confirmation?    Please email if you do not receive a donation or pledge confirmation receipt within two weeks of submission or if you do not receive a tax receipt by January 15th .

Can I split my donation between two forms of payment?

YES!  You can submit a check now and make a pledge, or put another portion of your donation on a credit card.

Can I pay with an installment plan?

YES!  On your donation form, please indicate your total donation amount, as well as the number & amount of your installments. A confirmation email will be sent for each installment received.

When I pay through PayPal how does that work?

You can click on the link above, and then follow the PayPal instructions for payment. Type in the amount you wish to donate, and log in. You can use your PayPal account or create a new one. Once you have logged in, you will need to click on the “Please list each child and teacher names” note to input this info and to provide a location to receive your magnet. Complete the transaction by clicking the “Donate $__ USD NOW” button and you are finished! A receipt/confirmation will be emailed to you and the car magnet will be sent home to you in your child’s backpack.

How can I have my employer match my donation?

Can a family member make a donation to the TTF?

YES!  A family member (grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.) can make a donation to the TTF and that donation amount will be credited towards your family! We welcome all donations!

When will I get my car magnet?

If you bring your donation or pledge to Open House or Meet and Greet to the TTF table, you will receive your magnet immediately. Otherwise, if you send your donation or pledge in to the school, we will send the car magnet home to you in your child’s backpack as soon as possible.

Is the TTF different from the PTA?

The PTA and the TTF each have distinct and essential roles and operated under specific parameters to improve the quality of our children’s education. By working together, we are able to support teachers and administrators, provide up-to-date technology & supplies, provide enrichment programs, keep families connected to school events, capital improvements, and much, much more! By supporting these two wonderful organizations, you are truly investing in YOUR child’s education!
