Club Skills & Frills tackles fun, crafty projects aimed at teaching kids lots of handy skills, like how to operate a drill, use a sewing machine or follow a recipe. Each semester, we take on several cool projects and make lots of unique items. From making cool signs or decorating cupcakes to creating personalized t-shirts or building PVC pipe projects, Club Skills & Frills is a great program for boys and girls who love hands-on craft projects. Cobb Soccer Academy for Grades 1-3 and 3-5
Cobb Soccer Academy is designed for soccer players of all levels and abilities. The academy will be centered around developing players according to their stage of development and offering hands-on training. Sessions will focus on teaching technical skills such as moves, dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting. The focus will also be on teaching the attacking and defending principles of play. Grades 1-3 and Grades 3-5 will meet as separate classes with separate instructors. Third graders may join either class, but we recommend that only 3rd graders with soccer experience join the older class.

Join Dreamweaver Dance Company this season as we partner with Tritt Elementary to bring you our dance program of EXCELLENCE! Our jazz and hip hop combo class is offered right here within the safety and convenience of Tritt Elementary School for one hour after school! Your dancer will learn, review, and add upon the basic fundamentals of dance as well as learn proper stretching and technique, and of course acquire a sense of TEAM SPIRIT! Your tuition includes a DDC t-shirt to wear to class weekly. Tiger Jumpers for Grades 3-5 with Ms. Rinehart*
This fun class will be offered to 3rd-5th graders who would like to be active, and have fun while learning new jump rope techniques.  As a child growing up in Brooklyn, NY, jumping rope and double-dutch became a big part of Ms. Rinehart’s life. Jumping rope is a high intensity workout that not only burns off energy but helps to improve focus, encourage creativity, and improve motor skills. Skills taught in this class will include basic jumping, team jumping, tricks, and an introduction to double-dutch!

**This class will meet Friday's for 10 weeks from 2:30-3:30. This class will be held outdoors, weather permitting.

☆ Parent Feedback: How lucky are we to have Tiger Jumpers at Tritt? Mrs. Rinehart is a jump rope champion! My daughter learned so many skills, had so much fun, and couldn't stop jumping after the class was over.

Tiger Photography for Grades 4-5 with Mrs. Levetan*
Join Tritt Teacher, Mrs. Levetan for some afterschool photography fun! During each class students will learn about a photographer, style of photography, and have lots of hands on practice taking different styles of photos. Camera equipment will be provided for students.

☆ Parent Feedback:  My daughter had a blast in Photography this semester. She learned about the camera and how to position items in the frame. She was even able to take her own stuffed animals into photograph. Mrs. Levetan gives us all the pictures at the end of the semester. It was a great learning experience for her.

Tiger Publishing for Grades 4-5 with Mrs. Pascual*
Tiger Publishing is a FAST class for fourth and fifth graders spanning 24 weeks during the fall and spring semesters. Students will meet each week to take part in creating Tritt's 2022-2023 yearbook by taking photographs of events, interviewing students for stories, creating quotes and polls, assisting in planning the overall design of the yearbook, marketing it for profitability, and managing its distribution. This experience will allow for opportunities of leadership, teamwork, and creativity across grade levels. Additionally, students will have opportunities to work with experts in the STEAM fields of photography, graphic design, digital layout, copyrighting, and marketing. Fee includes a Tritt yearbook and yearbook t-shirt.

Written communication is key! Whether it’s via pen, pencil, or keyboard. In Tiger Typing 3.0, students will develop keyboarding skills to quickly communicate their ideas digitally. They will learn to craft emails in Outlook, develop engaging slide decks in PowerPoint, and learn the basics of word processing in Word. These skills will enhance their productivity in upper grades and beyond!

☆ Parent Feedback: I signed up my son for Tiger Typing because I thought it was a great skill to have before heading off to middle school. What I didn't expect is how much he'd love it! Mrs. Pascual works her magic and somehow manages to make typing fun!
