Advanced Engineering: Mechanics for Grades 4-5 with Mr. Giunta*

Advanced Engineering is 12-week afterschool class offered in the Fall and Spring semesters. The Fall semester focuses simple machines, gear ratios and motorized mechanics – all using VEX IQ construction kits. The Spring semester will focus on robotics, where students will work in teams to design, build and drive a robot for a unique game.

Builder Bunch LEGO® for Grades 1-5

This club will take your children through a journey in automation. Students will learn how to automate their LEGO® play using robotic functionality then apply those skills to build creations that can accomplish missions without any human guidance. Get ready for the semester-long exploration. Each day provides a new mission and opportunity to collaborate and compete with Builder Bunch. The best part is that we host a Georgia-wide Robotic Olympic competition at the end of the semester.

Tritt Tiger Cheer is a FAST class offered for lower grade levels. Kindergarteners interested in learning the basics about cheer will meet with Miss Kish and Pope High School cheerleader volunteers in her classroom (room 708) on Wednesdays. The goal of the program is for students to learn cheer motions, cheers specifically for Tritt ES, and a small dance/cheer routine. The cost of the program will include a t-shirt and bow. This experience is great for students interested in cheer to gain foundational practice with cheer, or those that are already on a cheer team. There will not be tumbling or stunting with this class.

Join Tritt Teacher, Mrs. Levetan, for some afterschool CREATIVE WRITING fun! No rubrics or grades to worry about - just write about what you enjoy! Poems, silly stories, plays, fan fiction, and so much more!  Each week will bring new prompts and playful challenges to spark your imagination. It’s Game Time! Students will play a variety of classic board and card games such as Uno, Candyland, Headbandz, Guess Who, Jenga and more in a fun, hands-on setting. Spanish Class. We give the children useful vocabulary words in different units, and we help them learn these words by practicing them in different activities and games. Tiger Beats, Jr. is a percussion class for 1st and 2nd graders. Students will develop skills for a variety of accessory percussion instruments, drums, xylophones and even bucket drums! The class is all about exploring, improvising and creating through games and activities. This all culminates in a performance for parents at the end of the semester and/or a school/community event. Tiger Publishing for Grades 4-5 with Mrs. Pascual*

This is a year-long  class and will not be available for Spring registration.

Tiger Publishing is a FAST class for fourth and fifth graders spanning 24 weeks during the fall and spring semesters. Students will meet each week to take part in learning all aspects of publishing culminating in the creation of Tritt's 2025-2026 yearbook by taking photographs of events, interviewing students for stories, creating quotes and polls, assisting in planning the overall design of the yearbook, marketing, and managing its distribution. This experience will allow for opportunities of leadership, teamwork, and creativity across grade levels. Additionally, students will have opportunities to work with experts in the STEAM fields of photography, graphic design, digital layout, copyrighting, and marketing.

*A yearbook staff t-shirt, badge, and yearbook are provided.
